Pays d’Iroise is a remarkable location because of its Abers, Pointe Saint-Mathieu (St Matthew’s head), its sandy beach called the « Blancs Sablons » and the Iroise Sea, the town of Le Conquet; « the harbour at Lands End » located 20 kilometres west of Brest and a traditional seafaring town of Pays d’Iroise. Its glorious maritime past is present throughout the town, in its stones, « English style » houses, and the old harbour; Le Conquet is one of the main fishing harbours in Finistère. The town’s narrow streets are full of a rich heritage.
